The workhorse of diagnostic radiology, Computed Tomography uses a combination of X-ray images acquired at multiple angles to acquire slices of images through the human body. CT can be utilized to image the body from head to toe, as well as guide many interventional procedures needed for both inpatient and outpatient care. Images can be acquired with or without intravenous contrast, as well as with or without oral contrast.
